Context

FRIM Campus in Kepong is a living example of long-term forest restoration. Beginning in the 1920s, the site was transformed from heavily degraded former tin-mining land into a mature, human-made tropical rainforest.

Support this project

Today, the 545-hectare campus brings together forest research, biodiversity conservation, heritage, education and responsible public engagement. This project supports approved conservation activities that help safeguard and enhance this nationally significant landscape—through practical field stewardship, biodiversity-focused actions, research support and transparent reporting of progress.
